Our customer saw a house sign we made a couple of months ago depicting a barn owl. She requested a similar night time scene but asked for a silhouette of Lincoln Cathedral to be painted in the far distance as she can see the cathedral on the far horizon from their home. - You can see the silhouette to the right of the bird.

Many thanks indeed. Signs received yesterday, and they are just what we wanted. The picture is supremely atmospheric, and properly reflects the mood of the surrounding countryside. We love the balance between the moon and the owl, and the Cathedral rising eerily above the treeline. Am glad we put that in - could start a trend round here!
