We are Moving!
Were relocating to the Isle of Wight! - Its not long now that we will be moving back to the Isle of Wight. I have been missing the 'Diamond Isle' a lot since our Company expansion move from the Island in 2006 to Ash near Canterbury, Kent. Our sign studio premises in Ash, Kent where excellent but we started to get a bit cramped due new sign making equipment taking more space. - so we took the decision to move to much larger premises located HERE in Sandown on the Isle of Wight in order to keep all our sign making operations under one roof.
The new premises are double the size of our premises in Ash and will allow the company to expand our current reflective house sign ranges further and also offer other non-reflective products like engraved pet memorials. We spent last week dismantling all our equipment in Ash and moved it to the new sign studios in Sandown - now we are busy re-fitting the equipment to start the sign making operations on the Island. All our talented house sign artists who paint the wonderful pictorials you see on these blog pages will still be painting house signs for us. We will also be recruiting more signmakers on the Isle of Wight
The business relocation will be complete by January 31st and I will be moving to Sandown with my Wife to our new home on February 2nd. We are limited in the amount of house signs we can manufacture during our relocation period but we will be fully functional after February 3rd 2008.
On a personal note - The first thing my Wife and I will do is buy season tickets to Shanklin Chine - we had season tickets for the chine when we lived on the IOW before and regularly walked at dusk from the top end by the lighted waterfall down to the beach and sat watching the sea at Fishermans Cottage Pub. If you are ever on the Isle of Wight, visit Shanklin Chine as it gets dark - they light up the chine and waterfall with coloured lights and you feel like you are in a magical fairy wonderland!

Rustic oval sign with peacock pictorial
Our customer located in the USA asked us to create a pictorial depicting a male peacock displaying his feathers for this particular house sign project. The bird was quite difficult to paint with feathers spreading out but our artist Ivan Brenton has made a great display sign I think.

House sign depicting 2 dogs
Our customer ordered two house signs depicting dogs of the Rottweiler breed as gifts for different friends. The other one is showing below... Notice how we don't paint exactly the same dogs? Each pictorial house sign made by us is individually hand painted and designed by skilled sign artists and we take satisfaction in painting different scenes rather than set standard motifs. Painted by Ivan Brenton
