House Sign with black labrador dog pictorial. Hand painted by housesign artist Ivan Brenton. Our customer requested an oval pictorial scene of a black labradors head in front of a lake with purple mountains and a yellow/orange sunset in the background. I think that Ivan has followed our customer's brief very well and has created a wonderfully coloured background which helps to define the black labs head very well - good job that it was not just a black labradors head portrait without any scenery as it would not have stood out against a plain black background of the base plaque.
Here's the same labrador sign in darkness. This photo was taken with a flash at night to show how our reflective lettering realy stands out at night compared with orderinary paint when a light is shined on them. Notice you can't make out the picture of the dog and sunset scene, but the house name stands out great - All of our house signs have reflective text and numbers for better night time visibility.
