Lilac Cottage house name plaque

Our customer saw an example of a house sign we made about 5 years ago depicting lilac flowers and foliage with the same house name,,'Lilac Cottage' . the customer asked us to paint the same pictorial for their sign including the same house name and font.

This one is similar to other spring flowers themed house signs we have made in the pasr. The difference is the gold painted rim. We offer gold painted beaded rims on all the hand painted signs as an optional extra. On this 14.5 inch by 10 inch sign the gold rim costs £10 extra

Butterfly Barn House Sign

Our customer asked us to create house sign depicting three different species of butterflies flying over lavender for their new home. They liked it so much they have just commissioned two more signs with three different species on each sign - that makes nine species of butterflies on three signs on their home! Quite apt for the house name Butterfly Barn.

Our customer asked us to make this house number sign with hand painted fuchsias on it. The single digit house number 5 is in Tiffany Bold font.

Lark Cottage house name sign

Our customer sent us a photo image of a shore lark standing amongst coloured pebbles on a beach and asked us to recreate the image in this hand painted oval house name sign

House signs with Pheasants

Our customer  asked us to create an oval sign with a gold painted rim and a male and female pheasant in a field - a very popular hand painted house sign design. The font chosen by the customer is called Black Chancery

Cockerels House Signs

Our customer asked us to create an oval house sign depicting a distant hill view with a colourful  sunrise and two cockerels in the foreground. Notice the one bird is crowing.

 This 14.5 inch by 10 inch oval house signs was ordered by a customer who sent us an image of two herons standing in this particular stance and asked us to recreate the picture with some reeds behind the birds and just a hint of water. The font is called Tiffany Bold

Amazonian water lily and lily pad

Our customer aske us to create a rustic oval sign with an amazonian pink water lily and lily pad . these water lilies have huge lily pads and people can sit on them without sinking in the water.

House sign depicting a ram

Our customer asked us to create an oval house sign depicting a ram in the foreground with s flock of sheep in the distance in a Yorkshire moorland landscape. Sorry about the lack of focus in the image.

Magpies nest sign

Our customer asked us to create this house sign depicting two magpies perched on a magpies nest. Our artists did consider adding some shiny objects in the nest as these birds are renowned for stealing shiny trinkets but we decided not to and paint the sign with a nest made from just twigs.

House name sign rose cottage

This sign was ordered as a gift.  The customer asked for a single red rose to be painted in the centre of the sign.  The font is called  Victorianin all capital lettering

Our customer asked us to create a hand painted sign showing a blue butterfly on a Queen Annes Lace flower head. The Gaelic text arching along the top means a 'hundred thousand welcomes' in Irish. - The sign was sent to the customer in the USA

Dog portrait house sign

Our customer sent us an image of their dog and asked us to create a portrait of the dog on this 14.5 inch by 10inch oval sign. The font is called Stonehenge.

Our customer saw an example of a hedgehog and butterfly we painted about 10 years ago and asked for her house sign to show the same kind of theme.

House sign depicting a Jinty Locomotive

Our customer asked us to create this 14.5 inch by 10 inch oval house sign with a hand painted pictorial of a 'Jinty' type steam locomotive in blue. We looked on Google images and found an image that our artist could use as a guide to hand paint this house plaque.

Cottage house sign with spring flowers
