Our customer located in Ireland asked for this Large Mews style house name plaque with an Irish font. Originally the customer asked for an Oak Tree to be painted in the arch but we thought it would look better to have a branch of oak showing acorns and oak leaves. The customer agreed after seeing some of our previous examples of oak laeves.

Our customer ordered this house sign as a special gift. She asled for the Cross of Life near the top surrounded by forget-me-not flowers and the house number spelled out in a celtic font.

Our customer asked for a male pheasant standing in some grass. We have recently made a few different house signs with pictorials depicting pheasants, usually male and female birds together. This example is more close up of the male bird - I love the way Ivan has made the tail feathers reach out from the landscape.

Our customer asked for some ripe cherries and cherry blossom to be painted in the top arch of this large mews style house plaque. the sign was sent to guernsey in the channel islands. The font is called Amazone Script.

Were Moving!

Well it's time for me to say goodbye to the Isle of Wight and hello to Kent. - We have just taken on a new sign studio in Ash near Canterbury, Kent. I will be sad to leave the Isle of Wight and will miss my favourite town, Shanklin. The good news is we have a larger sign studio and will have more room for making more House Signs! The new sign studio is nearly completed and we are moving our main office and primary sign making facilities to Ash near Canterbury, Kent. I have just moved to our new home with my wife to Herne Bay in Kent - about 15 miles from the sign sudio and will be looking after operations in the new Sign Studio. We have retained our artists who paint the pictorial house signs on the Isle of Wight and also in Sussex and will be recruiting more artists in Kent.

OOPS!

I wanted to show this large mews style plaque with a gold rim and wonderful hand painted red clover design ( Ivan the artist also painted a four leafed clover amongst hidden amongst the pictorial - for good luck) but unfortunately the picture was taken with a flash and the sign reflected the light! - It also made the reflective text shine up brightly.

Our customer from Huntsville, Alabama requested we paint this sceene of a lake onto the large base plaque. She sent us a photo image of the lake and Ivan Brenton painted this pictorial for her.

House name sign with conkers pictorial. our customer asked for a picture of a branch of horse chestnuts showing leaves and conkers -notice the leaves are turning yellowish? This happens when the conkers are ripe.
