Our customer asked us to create a house plaque depicting a witch flying on a broomstick in front of a full moon over a lake. She told us that 'Samhain' is an old pagan festival now known as Halloween. I have made a few designs showing a witch flying on a broomstick over the years - several of them had the house name 'Samhain'.

Our customers in Ireland seem to ask us a lot for their house signs in a gaelic font. We actually have several different versions of true gaelic style fonts we can use - all include 'fadas' .

House number signs depicting Owls

Our customer saw an example of an owl house sign with just the house number in this blog that Rosemary Hitchman painted a few months ago and wanted EXACTLY the same design for his home. - We don't usually paint exactly the same motif designs as we feel that each house sign pictorial should be individual to each customer and it would also become a bit boring for us artists to paint the same motifs all the time. however, on this occasion Rosemary tried to copy the original one as best as she could.

Our New House Sign Studio

Here are some images of our new House Sign Studio in Sandown, Isle of Wight. We relocated to the premises in February 2008. The new sign studios occupy well over 1000 sq ft plus several offices and other facilities - all our house signs are made here from start to finish and these new house sign studios have enough space to allow our further expansion plans during 2008 and beyond.

Rustic Slate Oval House Sign with cartoon characters

Our customer located in Malta sent us an image of the sceene depicting winnie the pooh reaching for a jar on honey with tigger amd other cartoon characters. He also asked for the word HUNNY to have the one letter 'N' reversed. The font is called Comic Sans.
