I was driving around a new housing development in Newport, Isle of Wight looking for a friend who had just moved there and saw this house sign on one of their neighbours homes - We made it about 6 months ago. because our house signs are sent all over the world, we don't usually get a chance to see them on site.
Our customer saw a similar design I painted a few years back and asked for the same theme but with a red and white lighthouse.
This is the third house name plaque we have made within about a month depicting ripe cherries and cherry blossom. seasonally speaking this is incorrect as ripe cherries are never on the same branch as blossom, but it looks realy nice! - We do this with all kinds of fruit trees.
Our customer requested a mature male orangutan in natural habitat to be painted on this natural rustic oval. This as actually the second house sign with an orangutan theme this customer has ordered from us. The first one was the same base plaque but with a picture of a young orangutan in some trees. This one was painted by Ivan Brenton.
Our customer asked us to create a woodland pictorial in the top arch of this Large Mews style house plaque. The beade rim surrounding the plaque wad painted gold . The font is called Goudy Handtooled. - We made the first capital letter in each word bigger than the other capital letters for readability

Our customer asked for a clump of primroses painted in the centre of this 14.5 inch by 10 in house plaque. The font is called Goudy Handtooled and the house sign has been given a gold rim
Our customer asked for a simple hand painted pictorial of falling aspen leaves to be painted on this rustic oval.

Our customer located in Ireland asked for this Large Mews style house name plaque with an Irish font. Originally the customer asked for an Oak Tree to be painted in the arch but we thought it would look better to have a branch of oak showing acorns and oak leaves. The customer agreed after seeing some of our previous examples of oak laeves.
Our customer asked for a seascape depicting a view of 'Baggy Point' in Devon showing high surf and Lundy Island in the far distance with a seagull soaring in the foreground.
Our customer sent us a picture of his four black and white collies sitting together like this in the livingroom. He asked us to create a pictorial house sign depicting the dogs sitting outside in a patch of grass. - click on the sign to view it in greater detail.

Our customer ordered this house sign as a special gift. She asled for the Cross of Life near the top surrounded by forget-me-not flowers and the house number spelled out in a celtic font.
Our customer asked for a male pheasant standing in some grass. We have recently made a few different house signs with pictorials depicting pheasants, usually male and female birds together. This example is more close up of the male bird - I love the way Ivan has made the tail feathers reach out from the landscape.
You won't see all house sign designs we make here as most of the house signs made by us are standard house names or house numbers without custom painted pictorials - you can view all our STANDARD HOUSE SIGNS at our home websites http://www.yoursigns.co.uk/ or our house sign shop to buy one.
